Want to know when the next iPhone will come out? Ask Tim Cook over coffee.

Apple CEO Tim Cook is auctioning off the opportunity to have coffee with him in order to raise money for charity. Although the "estimated value" of the Charity Buzz auction for coffee with Cook, the latest bid is at $160,000 with twenty days left on the bidding.

The winning bidder will have a rare opportunity to sit with Apple's chief executive over coffee and ask him questions about himself or about the company he is heading.

Yesterday, IBTimes AU published that Tim Cook dropped several hints that the upcoming iPhone 6 and 5S will be released later this year.

In the most recent earnings call with investors, press and analysts, Cook said that no new products are to launch before the end of the year.

Cook also subtly dented rumours that the iPhone 5S could launch as early as June. "Our teams are hard at work on some amazing new hardware, software, and services that we can't wait to introduce this fall and throughout 2014."

He also confirmed that the next iPhone will not feature a larger screen display.

"My view continues to be that the iPhone 5 has the absolute best display in the industry, and we always strive to create the very best display for our customers. Some customers value large screen size, others value other factors such as resolution, colour quality, white balance, brightness, reflectivity, screen longevity, power consumption, portability, compatibility with apps and many things," Cook said.

"Our competitors had made some significant trade-offs in many of these areas in order to ship a larger display. We would not ship a larger display iPhone while these trade-offs exist," he quickly added.

Rumour has it that the next iPhone will feature Retina or IGZO screen display, A7 quad core chip processor, iOS 7, 128GB internal storage, 13 mega-pixel camera, and longer battery life. The lack of NFC support on the iPhone 5 was one of the biggest criticisms aimed at Apple's smartphone.

Meanwhile, the cheaper iPhone 5S is rumoured to sport a plastic casing, 4-inch screen display, dual core processor and 8-megapixel camera.
