Apple recently released the iOS 8.1 build to developers. The release marks as the fastest iOS x.1 launch from the company. Often, the beta release of a build comes after a few months following the iOS launch. Apple did otherwise implying the more aggressive approach to its mobile OS boosting adoption. What has Apple in store for the iOS 8.1?

The update may also have something to do with the Apple pay and release of the platform to iPads and upcoming Apple Watch according to BGR. The report provides the changelog of the software. According to the company:

"iOS SDK 8.1 provides support for developing iOS apps. It is packaged with a complete set of Xcode tools, compilers, and frameworks for creating apps for iOS and OS X. These tools include the Xcode IDE and the Instruments analysis tool, among many others."

As with other iOS beta release, installation of the software is only allowed on devices under the Apple Developer Program. Individuals who download the program not under the program may be subject to legal issues. Some of the issues included in iOS SDK 8.1 include:

Apple offers more information about the release through its is developer section. According to CNET, the iOS 8.1 beta offers more Apple Pay support. There is a hidden screen within the beta release allowing a user to input their debit or credit card information. The information came from a developer who goes by the name Hamza Sood. Other information that can be placed in the hidden pane includes phone number, shipping and billing address.

The screenshot posted along with the tweet also shows Apple's privacy policy. According to the statement, Apple can gather the billing and credit card information of the user to check for fraudulent transactions. The company will offer the card issuer details of the user to check identification.
