The interest and excitement of device enthusiasts are currently fixed on the upcoming iPad Mini 2. Recent reports are pointing to the Apple device's release date scheduled on July 2013 with the new iOS 7 and enhanced specifications and the addition of multitasking features.

Technology giant Apple will have its keynote address during the 2013 WWDC from June 10 to June 14 in San Francisco, California. It is expected that Apple will introduce the latest iOS system software with a new device at the conference with an immediate release one month later.

The iPad Mini 2 release date in July will give Apple an advantage in the market competition. Rival company Google decided not to unveil the successor to the Nexus 7 during the May 2013 Google I/O conference so that will give Apple the drive to excel in the tablet market.

Meanwhile, a feature that Apple enthusiasts wish to experience on the upcoming iPad Mini 2 with the iOS 7 is multitasking. Techies believe that the iPad Mini 2 will do better with the iOS 7 multitasking support and multi-view windows that aids function between applications without any difficulty.

Tech web site ZDNet features the Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 tablet with the multi-view windows which is what the upcoming iPad Mini needs to outshine the rival company. It sounds appealing to have the iPad Mini 2 and iOS 7 supporting two application functions on the tablet screen simultaneously.

The new Apple Mini tablet with the multitasking feature will allow users to view and work on two different documents at the same time or have a file opened on one side while the email or another function is on the other side. Such feature works as well with the Samsung Galaxy Note 2 so incorporating it in the iPad Mini 2 will really make the device stand out.
