The Apple iPad Mini 3, which was replaced by the iPad Mini 4 in September 2014, is now retailing at an irresistible discount of $300 (AU$419).
Best Buy is selling the Wi-Fi only iPad Mini 3 with 128 GB storage at a price tag of $300 (AU$419). The listing shows that the retailer giant is offering the tablet with a massive $300 discount, while also offering buyers free shipping services.

Best Buy is selling the tablet in space gray and silver colours through its online store and retail outlets. On the other hand, the iPad Mini 3 with 128 GB storage that comes with cellular support is priced at $429 (AU$595).
The iPad Mini 3 comes with a premium design and sturdy build. Its specs include a 7.9-inch display that offers a resolution of 1536 x 2048 pixels. The device is powered by Apple A7 SoC, which includes a dual-core processor that works at 1.3 GHz along with PowerVR G6430 graphics. The chipset is coupled with 1 GB of RAM.
The tablet also features a 5 MP camera on its rear panel and a 1.2 MP camera on the front.
The specifications of the iPad Mini 3 are the same as the iPad Mini 2, but the former comes with an additional feature, the Touch ID fingerprint scanner. The tablet running on iOS 8.1 was released in October 2014 and supports the latest iOS 9.2.
The iPad Mini 4, which measures 6.1 mm in thickness, is slimmer than its predecessor. It is powered by Apple A8 chipset and 2 GB of RAM. When it comes to photography features, the iPad Mini 4 is packed with an 8 MP rear camera and 1.2 MP frontal camera.
The upgraded and improved features of the iPad Mini 4 includes Touch ID sensor, 802.11ac Wi-Fi, version 4.2 Bluetooth, Apple SIM support and integrated barometer. The iPad Mini 4 is furthermore packed with a smaller battery, although it has been optimised to deliver the same performance as its predecessor, Forbes reported. The 128 GB Wi-Fi and cellular variants of iPad Mini 4 are priced at $599 (AU$837) and $729 (AU$1019) respectively.
