Apple iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus Battery Life Test
The 4.7-inch iPhone 6 is packed with a 1,810 mAh battery whereas the 5.5-inch iPhone 6 houses a 2,915 mAh battery. The iPhone 5S came with 1,560 mAh battery. Apple has packed 250 mAh more battery capacity in the iPhone 6 and the battery capacity of iPhone 6 Plus is almost twice more than that of iPhone 5S
Moreover, the power efficient dual-core 64-bit processor is power efficient compared to the A7 64-bit processor that is present inside the iPhone 5S. According to battery life stats revealed in September by PhoneArena, that the new iPhone 6 handsets have 25 percent faster processor, 50 percent faster graphics.

The 3G talk time test showed that the iPhone 6 can last for 12 hours and 26 minutes. The iPhone 5S which released in 2013 can produce a 3G talk time of 10 hours and 46 minutes. The 3G talk time test for iPhone 6 Plus reveals that it can last for around 24 hours.
The Nokia Lumia 1520 with a battery of 3,400 mAh can produce a 3G talk time of 28 hours and 34 minutes. Some of the other smartphones with better 3G talk time include Motorola DROID RAZR M, Sony Xperia M and Sony Xperia L
Web Browsing Test
The internet browsing test shows that the you can continuously browse on the web for 10 hours and 29 minutes, which is approximately 30 minutes more compared to the web browsing prowess of iPhone 5S. As far as web browsing on iPhone 6 Plus is concerned, the phablet allows its users to browse on the internet for 9 hours and 5 minutes.
Among other smartphones, the Galaxy S5 mini was found to be best in this segment with 13 hours and 14 minutes of web browsing. It has a battery of 2,100 mAh. Some of the handsets that offers better web browsing include Asus PadFone X, HTC Butterfly S, LG G2 Mini, Nokia Lumia 1320 and Motorola Moto G 4G.
Video Playback Test
The video playback test on iPhone 6 revealed that users can enjoy 9 hours and 24 minutes of continuous video playback. Owners of iPhone 6 Plus can watch videos continuously for 11 hours and 15 minutes.
The LG G Flex with a battery of 3,500 mAh can produce 19 hours and 47 minutes of continuous video playback. Other smartphones with support for longer video playback times include Samsung Galaxy S4 Zoom, Xiaomi Mi3, HTC One S and Samsung Galaxy S3.
