Apple iPhone 6 Release Date: June 2014 at WWDC or Late-September Launch?
There are not much official information about the iPhone 6 just yet, but generally Apple releases its iPhones for two years and delivers a couple of specs boosts in the second year - which is the iPhone 5s now. With that information, the iPhone 6 will be a total revamp from its predecessor and it might be the best smartphone ever made.
The release date and the price are two of the most important reasons why customers should wait for the next generation iPhone. Relative to its current competitors in the market, Apple is a little bit behind the curve in terms of specs. As such, the iPhone 6 needs to assert itself again into being the provider of premier smartphones according to Pingzine.
Given that, the iPhone 6 release date may come sooner as analysts think Apple will shorten its upgrade cycle and will release the iPhone 6 in June 2014.
Meanwhile, another report from Citi Research says that there is an increasing consensus across the supply chain in Asia, which will push the Cupertino tech giant to introduce a high resolution 12.9 inches tablet in the second quarter of 2014.
Furthermore, analysts from the Citi Research theorise that Apple is creating a clear boundary between its consumer-oriented and professionally-oriented solutions. Based on their discussions, the iPhone 6 is likely to maintain its late-September launch.
On the other hand, the iPhone 6 might be released during the Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) which Apple hosts every summer. Last 2013 conference, Apple announced the new look of the iOS 7, the iTunes Radio, OS X Mavericks and the new MacBook Air. This year's WWDC 2014, the iPhone 6 might be unveiled mainly because a new iPhone is released every year.
For several months now, rumours and speculations about the iPhone 6 release date and its killer specs and features abound all over the Internet. Fans are also expecting to see a revamped next generation iPhone as a way for Apple to remain steadfast in the cut-throat smartphone industry.
