9to5 Mac cited the 5.5-inch model iPhone 6 will come with an added flexibility courtesy of the bendable sapphire display protection. It is expected the sapphire glass covering will provide better scratch and impact resistance to Apple's next flagship phone. Smartphone users will have greater peace of mind knowing that their expensive gadget will still remain intact and will work properly without scratch even when accidentally dropped on the floor.

iOS 8

Multiple online sources hinted both the upcoming 5.5-inch model and 4.7-inch model of iPhone 6 will sport the latest iOS 8 operating system.

Android Origin cited iPhone 6 will have 8 MP camera with interchangeable lens. The smartphone will feature touch focus, simultaneous video and image recording, face detection, geo-tagging, HDR panorama and HDR photo. Supersize Memory

Various sources cited that in addition to the usual 32 GB and 64 GB internal memory, the upcoming iPhone 6 will also have a version with 128 GB internal memory. This supersized capacity will allow smartphone users to store more information and important data in their device.

Sources noted iPhone 6 will have an ultra-thin body at only 7 mm. The device will be few notches thinner than the 7.6 mm iPhone 5S and the 8.6 mm Nexus 5. This ultra-thin body will give smartphone users with greater ease of holding the device in their hands.

Powerful Processor

iPhone 6 will also sport a 20 nm A8 chip from TSMC and will have quad-core processors, according to various sources.
