Apple iPhone 7 Plus may come with 256 GB internal storage
New reports claim that Apple will finally pack its upcoming flagship device with bigger battery which all the iPhone lovers desired for long. There are also speculations that the company will offer a version of the larger screened iPhone 7 Plus with a gigantic 256 GB internal storage option.
Chinese Media site MyDrivers reports that the upcoming flagship device will exclusively sport a whopping 256 GB internal storage version which is double the top end iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus offering 128 GB of native memory. Additionally, as far as rumours go, the iPhone 7 Plus will feature a beefy 3 GB RAM with the Touch ID embedded into its touch screen display .
Moreover, the device will reportedly come packed with an upgraded 3,100 mAh battery. However, Apple is yet to confirm the specs. The latest and recently released iPhone 6s Plus features 2750 mAh battery to keep the lights on.
Considering the high-end features of the iPhone 7 Plus, a bigger battery may not ensure a longer battery life. According to 9to5Mac, the company may consider shuffling other storage combinations and offer 64/128/256 GB storage sizes. The report also mentions that the Cupertino based company might also end up launching the device with four storage options.
Apple iPhone 7 and 7 Plus might sport a similar design to that of iPhone 6s and 6s Plus. The next iteration of iPhones may also be waterproof along with a "self-healing elastomer" that will prevent water from seeping into their internals. The rumoured device may also come with dust resistant capabilities.
The tech giant is also slated to release its much anticipated 4-inch iPhone 7c in coming April, reports Phone Arena. The smartphone is tipped to be powered by an Apple A9 chipset paired with 2 GB of RAM. The metal clad device will come in Gold, Silver and Black colour variants.
