Apple iPhone 7 glitch: Users report strange hissing noise during heavy performance; Latest A10 processor could be the reason

Apple iPhone 7 is making waves for being the hottest device in the market today. While most owners have given a positive feedback for its reliability and top-class performance, many are reporting a problem with the flagship from Apple. The complaints are because of a hissing sound that the smartphones reportedly make during heavy use.

The iPhone 7 issue is being reported by only a select number of users. While the phones seem to work fine despite the hissing sound, users are a bit worried as other premium smartphones are virtually silent even during heavy processor use. Some are suspecting a coil whine or similar electromagnetic effects though the cause is not yet known, reports Endgadget.

It is a fairly new incident as no such issues were reported with iPhone 6s and 6s Plus. The hissing sound that the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus are making could be because of the latest A10 processor while the predecessor used an A9 chip. With more and more complaints surfacing, users anticipate that Apple may recall the devices.

However, no reports of any accident or danger as a result of the iPhone 7 hissing sound have come in yet. No danger as been associated with the sound though iPhone users surely do not want to experience such noise in a premium device such as the iPhone 7.

While Apple may consider recalling some of the Apple iPhone 7 devices, finding a replacement for the unit will be tough since the supply of the handsets is awfully tight, writes The Bitbag.

The iPhone 7 hissing noise was first detected by Stephen Hackett at 512 Pixels after which many started reporting the same problem. Marco Arment, Tumblr co-founder and iOS developer said that the noise may be happening for a good reason but such as sound by Apple’s iPhone 7 is both ungraceful and unfortunate, reports News.com.au.
