Apple will announce the launch date and prices of the new Apple iPad Pro next week but the large tablet will be introduced to India only in January 2016.

Three models of the iPad Pro will make it to India, said The Quint. The Wi-Fi only 32 GB model will arrive with the price tag of Rs 67,900 (AU$1,392). The 128 GB model along with a 4G LTE connection will be priced at Rs 91,900 (AU$1,883). The Wi-Fi only 128 GB model will cost Rs 79,990 (AU$1,640).

Apple is trying to encourage Indian business enterprises to get their hands on the iPad Pro, according to The Quint. Apple will distribute the tablet to its own employees, who can access IBM cloud applications to develop and test the new tablet. Apple last year partnered with IBM to produce the enterprise iPad.

The 12.9-inch iPad Pro has a sharp resolution of 2048 x 2732 pixelsand is powered by the A9X processor. Apple claims this processor is even faster than the processor of the iPhone 6s and vows users will have PC class performance on the iPad Pro.

Apple has incorporated 4 GB of RAM into the tablet to support the processor. The iPad Pro will also support the Touch ID fingerprint scanner. It will have an 8 MP rear camera and a 1.2 MP shooter as a primary camera.

Along with the iPad Pro, the company will also introduce the Apple Pencil stylus and the new smart keyboard accessory. As of now, however, the company hasn’t revealed any pricing details for these two accessories.
