Apple's 12.9-inch iPad Pro is expected to launch in both online and physical retail stores on November 11. The tablet was first unveiled by the Cupertino tech giant in September and its release was set for an unspecified date in November.

Alongside this huge-screen tablet, Apple will also launch a couple of accessories: the Smart Keyboard and Apple Pencil. These tools can transform the iPad Pro into a unit that functions like a drawing book, a note pad or a MacBook.

The Smart Keyboard also functions as a protective case for the tablet. While keeping the device safe from scratches, the keyboard can also be connected to the new iPad through a Smart connection so its battery can be charged.

The Apple Pencil, meanwhile, has 12 hours' worth of battery life. This particular tool can be charged with the use of a Lightning connector. This means the tablet can immediately get 30 minutes' worth of battery life even when only charged for 15 seconds, reported Tech Times.

The tablet's 3D Touch feature is made even more interesting by the Apple Pencil. By using this tool, users can draw thinner or thicker lines depending on how hard its tip is pressed on the iPad Pro's screen display. Plus, the Apple Pencil is so smart it can even detect angles so as to create shading effects.

The 12.9-inch iPad Pro is expected to sport a new A9X processor under the hood. With that particular feature, the tablet can function blazingly fast. Apple also claims the device will be two times faster than the iPad Air 2, especially in graphics performance.

"With its expansive 12.9-inch Retina display, nearly double the CPU performance of iPad Air 2, and refined Multi-Touch technology, the iPad Pro adds another dimension to that experience," said a story on Apple's official page for the iPad Pro.
