Some sources also say Apple can drop the optical drive and make way for a hybrid. A MacBook Pro 2013 Retina Display hybrid sounds very appealing but can Apple deliver?

Earlier, Apple just released two new handsets: the iPhone 5c and the iPhone 5s. It also unveiled its latest operating system, the iOS 7. While many anticipate any announcements of details about the laptops and desktops, Apple remained tight lipped about this line.

Now, there are reports saying that the next big Apple event can be in October. Several sources claim Apple could be releasing an all new Macbook Pro Retina Display 2013 together with the OS X. What does the new MacBook Pro has in store?

It is supposed to be a hybrid between a Pro and the Retina Display. If this happens then Apple can be packing an incredible ultrabook that should set the standards once more for many laptops. Apple did not mention any details even during their September 13 event. This left many users and analysts hanging as to what the tech giant can be planning.

The latest Intel Haswell processor has improved the MacBook Air battery from lasting only 7 hours to more than 12-13 hours now. The 11-inch model increase from 5 hours to 9 hours of battery life. The processor offers 70% battery improvement which MacBook Pros can benefit significantly.

The 2013 MacBook Air also provided faster 802.11ac WiFi. This means it can be worthwhile to wait for the MacBook Pro Retina because it also has better WiFi connections. The new WiFi system should find its way to new MacBook Pros.

Lastly, reports also note how a better storage system will accompany the MacBook Pro. An Intel Haswell-powered hybrid Retina Display should be ought the wait.
