Ajax midfielder Davy Klaassen was witnessed by Arsenal scouts as he scored a hat-trick on Saturday against NAC Breda in the Eredivisie.

Despite his young age, the 20-year-old showed smarts as he positioned himself strategically on the pitch to create goalscoring opportunities.

Klaassen is being considered to join the Holland senior team that will play in the upcoming World Cup Finals in Brazil in 2014.

While primarily being utilized as a midfielder, the Dutch international has shown that he has a knack for finding the back of the net, scoring 6 goals in 10 games for the Amsterdam-based club.

He has been compared to the great Dennis Bergkamp because of his creativity and goalscoring instincts, while versatile enough to play the centre forward position.

"Davy is an attacking midfielder who can play centre forward. He's definitely very talented. Moreover, he's a smart guy," Ajax manager Frank de Boer told The Daily Mail.

Klaassen is a product of the famous Ajax Youth Academy which has produced legends like, no less than, Bergkamp and outstanding players alike.
