Real Madrid striker Alvaro Morata, who is recently involved in reports that he will be leaving the Los Blancos to join rumoured favourites Arsenal on loan, is contemplating on leaving the Spanish capital to seek game time.

The youngster showed glimpses of his potential by consistently performing well in Spain's under-21 squad, but a star-studded Los Blancos roster is continually hindering him from earning a regular spot in the first-team.

Even Real manager Carlo Ancelloti could not give him an assurance of minutes on the pitch, in spite of the former's desire to hold on to the sought-after striker.

Morata is growing frustrated by his limited participation at the Bernabeu and revealed that unless and until the Spanish giants can give him a role wherein he will be able to take part in match proceedings, he might as well find an opportunity elsewhere.

"Real Madrid have been my team since I was little and will be all my life, but I think the important thing is to have a relevant role in the team," Morata told Minuto 116.

"Moving up to the first team is tricky, not everyone deals with it well. If you learn how to handle it, you realise the value of every minute."

"Maybe in five or 10 minutes you have to go on and be decisive in a game. In football every minute is golden."
