Last Sunday, Asus announced the successor model for MeMO Pad 10 (ME102A) which was released in 2013. The Asus MeMO Pad 10 (ME103K) is the successor device which is priced at $199. The tablet does not support a SIM support and it offers internet connectivity only through Wi-Fi.

Asus MeMO Pad 10 (ME103K) is a tablet that comes with a 10-inch LED backlit IPS display screen. It offers a display resolution of 1,280 x 800 pixels. On the product page of MeMO Pad 10, it is mentioned that the IPS display is able to produce accurate colors. The display comes with anti-fingerprint coating.

The tablet is powered by a Snapdragon S4 Pro chipset that includes a quad-core processor gunning at 1.5 GHz. It is accompanied by 1 GB of RAM. It comes in three inbuilt storage options like 8 GB, 16 GB and 32 GB. The external storage slot supports up to 64 GB of microSD.

On the first year of purchase, Asus is offering 11 GB of Asus webstorage space for free. Moreover, it is also offering 5 GB free space for lifetime. The tablet comes preloaded with Android v4.4 KitKat.

The new tablet from Asus features a front-facing camera of 0.3 MP and on the rear side it houses a 2 MP camera. On selected models, the tablet features a 5 MP camera instead of 2 MP camera. It is equipped with stereo speakers powered by SonicMaster technology.

The Asus MeMO Pad 10 (ME103K) is available in two colour options such as white and black. Its thickness is 9.9 mm and weighs 525 g. It comes with a host of connectivity features such as microUSB, 3.5 mm combo audio jack for headphone and mic, GPS and GLONASS, Miracast support, Bluetooth and 802.11 b/g/n Wi-Fi. According to GSMArena, Asus promises that the battery of MeMO Pad 10 (ME103K) can last for 9.5 hours on single charge.

As of now, only the pricing and the modest specifications of MeMO Pad 10 (ME103K) has been revealed. Asus has not revealed the release date of the tablet. Android Authority claims that tablet may be aimed to release during the upcoming holidays.
