ASUS Transformer Pad TF701T with NVIDIA Tegra 4 Arrives October 21: What to Expect
Asus will be realizing another transformer on October 21 - the next generation ASUS Transformer Pad TF701T. The machine features a Full HD+ display at 2560 x 1600 across 10.1-inches of IPS LCD. It also runs on NVIDIA Tegra 4 quad-core processor. Other specs include USB 3.0 for better charging, faster and more efficient data transfer.
The ASUS Transformer Pad TF701T serves as proof of Asus' dedication in providing high-powered devices on the market. The device comes with exceptional graphics because of NVIDIA started with the Tegra 3-toting Transformer Prime.
The machine also packs on wired HDMI connectivity complete with full 4K Ultra HD display-driving abilities, Miracast for Wi-fi video streaming and top notch speaker technology. SonicMaster audio compliments the speakers for better audio experience. The new transformer feature 178-degree viewing angles through its panel.
It is a lean machine with all the right components for viewing entertainment.
The device ships with an optional Mobile Dock. The full keyboard makes the new Asus device a real deal transformer. The Mobile Dock or the keyboard dock functions with a multi-touch touchpad. It is different from the previous models since it ready for full setup. Asus included a built-in Polaris Office suite for the dock.
There is also a single USB 3.0 port catering to SuperSpeed storage devices. People can also use the Mobile Dock with an SDXC card slot if they want to expand the storage. The setup is completed by the microSDXC slot for expandable memory.
The dock packs on a built-in battery which can offer up to 13 to 17 hours of battery life.
Another reported feature is the TransCover. People can choose to do away with the keyboard dock cover if they have this. The TransCover features a hard rear and synthetic screen cover the either props of folds the screen in different angles. This is ideal for watching videos or on-screen typing.
People will have to pay additional cost for the TransCover though. Following the release of the ASUS Transformer Pad TF701T this coming October 21, the company will start shipping to different stores across the globe in the following weeks.
