‘Attack on Titan’ game gets new gameplay videos, more details on Treasure Box Collector’s Edition
Three new gameplay videos have been released for Koei Tecmo’s upcoming title “Attack on Titan.” The videos give players a glimpse of new gameplay footage and mechanics when fighting against titans.
Showcased over at the official Koei Tecmo YouTube page, two of the videos are roughly a minute and a half long, each of which showcase gameplay mechanics on basic actions and co-op fights. In the first video, seen below, protagonist Eren Jaeger shows off the different movements that players can do in fighting against titans.
The extent of the range in using the 3D maneuvers, as well as the movements in using the swords can be seen. In the co-op fights, Eren and Armin Arlert, alongside other squad members cooperate to fight against the titans.
The last video spans two and a half minutes, and follows the gameplay action of Captain Levi. Most of the characters that fight against the titans are from the elite Survey Corps, including Mike Zacharius, Eld Gin and Hange Zoe.
The currently Japan-exclusive Treasure Box collector’s edition for Koei Tecmo’s “Attack on Titan” game has also received more details, and a new image featuring the items included in the edition. According to DualShockers, there are a total of six items in the box. These include a physical copy of “Attack on Titan,” the original soundtrack, a red muffler towel featuring Eren, Captain Levi and Mikasa and collectible pins with two designs each for Eren, Mikasa and Levi.
It also includes the official scouting report that is an artbook featuring the game’s environment and setting, some information of the characters and those from the world as seen in the Japanese animation version. There’s also a download code for a costume for Armin. Fans who have watched the 2015 Japanese anime spin-off for “Attack on Titan,” titled “Shingeki! Kyojin Chuugakkou,” will be familiar with Armin’s quilt costume.
“Attack on Titan” the game from Koei Tecmo will come out on Feb. 18, 2016. It will be a PlayStation-exclusive title, to be released on the PS4, PS3 and PS Vita.
