Rape threats are considered grave, so an Australian female gaming journalist who received them online turned the tables on her stalkers. But it turned out that the would-be sexual molesters are just boys.

So 21-year-old Alanah Pearce from Brisbane dealt with the two boys by telling their mum of their naughty threats. She received the threats on her Facebook account under the name Alana "Charalanahzard" Pearce.

One example of the FB message sent to Pearce read: "I'll rape u if I ever see u c**t." The language and use of SMS language were indicators to Pearce that her stalkers aren't adult men. She explained to Guardian Australia, "It turns out that mostly they're young boys and the problem is they don't know any better, so responding to them rationally didn't resolve the situation."

When she reached the point that her stalkers' comments made her uncomfortable, Pearce went straight to their mums. One of the mothers replied and called hers son "little s**t."

Pearce commented, quoted by News.com.au, "She responded in almost exactly the way I wanted her to ... The fact she called him a little s**t I found funny because I thought that but I wasn't going to say anything."

Since her tweet became viral, Pearce has received invitations for radio interviews and when asked why she gets such kinds of online threats, Pearce, a gaming journalist, guesses the boys have seen her videos about games on the Internet that they didn't like, such as the one below, and responded by threatening to rape her.
