Australian model Sophie Monk manned up and faced her online stalker without the help of the Los Angeles authorities.

For the past several weeks, model Sophie Monk has been pestered by a stalker on Skype who keeps on calling and sending explicit messages. According to the model and actress, the alleged stalker continuously calls the actress' Skype account to the point where she had to "turn the computer off". While describing the annoying stalker to Matt and Jo's radio show on Fox FM, the model/actress says the person went a "little too far".

The model narrates "All of a sudden this message comes up that says 'can I please pleasure myself to you?" to which Monk replied "Hey!". The model claims once she finally answered the calls, the stalker backed off by saying "Oh my god, it's really you... I'm so sorry, I didn't know what I was doing, and I'll erase you right now!" Since the incident, Monk has changed all of her numbers, including her Skype details and username.

The model is no rookie when it comes to online stalking incidents, with a same experience on Facebook in the past. "I didn't erase him because he might come murder me", the model chuckled on air. Sophie's confidence came from the belief that if no one is going to do about it, she might as well confront the stalker herself. "I'd rather know what's going on. Keep your enemies close rather than far away" says Monk in report by News.com.au. "I've been down to the police station because it's got really scary and the police here (Los Angeles) don't do anything about it so instead I take it in my own hands and start speaking back to him" adds the model in the same post.
