Autopsy on Jackass Star, Ryan Dunn's body begins - passenger's identity revealed
Identity of passenger, Dunn's whereabouts before the accident, and details of the accident revealed!
The examination of Ryan Dunn's charred remains has now begun, and the identity of the passenger is confirmed, according to MTV.
The accidental death of Jackass star Ryan Dunn on the morning of June 20th has left the entertainment world shocked and bewildered and new details have broken out. The West Goshen police department has confirmed that the autopsy of Dunn's remains is "under way", according to a report posted by Mtv.com.
The second person inside Dunn's crashed Porsche 911 GT3 has been identified as Zachary Hartwell, a 30-year-old friend of the actor. Hartwell is not a member of the core Jackass group, but is listed as a production assistant for the second installment of the movie franchise. Hartwell, who was in one of Bam Margera's projects, was also an Iraq war veteran who recently got married.
At around 2:30 am Sunday night, Dunn drove his Porsche off a road located somewhere along route 322 in West Goshen, a small township in Pennsylvania state. According to police report, the car went straight onto the side of the road for over 40 yards before it hit a huge tree trunk and exploded. Those who were first in the scene say the car was "totally engulfed in flames", and Dunn's remains were so burnt that they only distinguished the star through his tattoos and facial hair.

Just hours before the accident, Dunn was reported to have been drinking with friends at Barnaby's of America, a bar located in West Chester just miles away from the site of the crash. Dunn posted a photo with friends enjoying drinks at the said bar through his Twitter account, the last known online activity of the Jackass member. In a separate report, staff of the establishment claim the stuntman did not seem intoxicated when he left the watering hole.
Friends of Dunn expressed their grief through different online portals, with co-star Johnny Knoxville saying "I don't really know what to say right now everybody, because the sadness is overwhelming, but today we lost one of our own" in the website of Dichouse Productions. Dunn's best friend Bam Margera, on the other hand, wrote a tweet conveying his fury against movie critic Roger Ebert for posting "Jackasses don't let friends drink and drive". Margera posted in his account "I just lost my best friend, I have been crying hysterical for a full day and piece of s**t roger ebert has the gall to put in his 2 cents".
