Avengers 2: Robert Downey Jr Talks about Fight Scene between Iron Man and Hulk in Age of Ultron Film
Footage from the "Avengers" sequel has been previewed at the 2014 San Diego Comic-Con to the lucky fans who were present at the event. The footage teased a sneak peek on Iron Man's Hulkbuster vs. The Hulk in "Avengers: Age of Ultron" and actor Robert Downey Jr talked about the much anticipated fight scene after the Comic-Con panel.
"Iron Man" actor Robert Downey Jr revealed during an interview with MTV that the Hulkbuster fight scene will be a physical and emotional one. The 49-year-old actor further admitted that he felt like two years have already passed as he worked on that fight scene because it has been something that the "Avengers" production team wanted in the superhero sequel.
Robert Downey Jr explained that the Hulkbuster vs. The Hulk scene cannot just be a good fight scene in the film but there must be an element in it. "It's got to be about something. The great thing in 'Age of Ultron' is that fight between them, nobody wins when two people who are friends fight," the actor stated. According to the Comic Book Movie report, the footage also teased other exciting things in the "Avengers: Age of Ultron" film aside from the Hulkbuster fight scene. The footage included a preview on the new look at the Avengers Tower, laboratories for Tony Stark and Dr. Bruce Banner, a shot of Captain America (Chris Evans) riding a motorbike, Quicksilver (Aaron Taylor Johnson) running in action and the film locations that include South Korea, Italy and the UK.
Marvel president Kevin Feige reiterated during the IGN interview last July 16 that there are a lot of exciting scenes in the "Avengers: Age of Ultron" film and the Hulkbust vs. The Hulk scene is certainly one of those exciting scenes.
"Avengers: Age of Ultron," written and directed by Joss Whedon, stars Robert Downey Jr as Iron Man, Mark Ruffalo as The Hulk, Chris Hemsworth as Thor, Chris Evans as Captain America, Scarlett Johansson as Black Widow, Jeremy Renner as Hawkeye, Aaron Taylor-Johnson as Quicksilver, Elizabeth Olsen as Scarlet Witch and James Spader as Ultron. The movie sequel is scheduled to be released in theaters on May 1, 2015.
