2011 is already ending and sooner or later, 2012 would already be signaling its presence. A new year also means a new year for new and innovative tech gadgets in the market.

Rumors about these new and innovative products have been circling in the market for the past months and there is no doubt that these rumors would intensify once the release dates of these products have been confirmed. Here is a quick guide to give you an idea of what tech products to expect in the year 2012:

Windows 8

According to Microsoft, the public beta for Windows 8 would be available by February, 2012. Windows 8 is the latest version of Microsoft's Operating System for their devices such as computers, laptops, and tablets. Major changes have been integrated in this new OS such as the integrated software store and support for ARM chips. The integrated software store has a similar concept with Apple's Mac Store. Microsoft would also adapt a new strategy which is to "provide more openness, speed, and predictability than Apple and more control and supervision than Google." Aside from that, the newest version of Internet Explorer would also be included in Windows 8 alongside a "groundbreaking" user interface. As of the moment, Windows 8 is still in its developmental stage so a lot of improvements and changes are expected for this new OS.

iPad 3

Rumors circulating about the release of iPad 3 grew stronger through the release of iOS 5.1 Beta to developers. According to developers, there were new codes included in this beta version which indicated the release of new Apple products. One of the Apple products that they have identified is Apple's iPad 3, the latest tablet from Apple after the release of iPad 2 this year. The upcoming iPad 3 would reportedly have a quad-core chip, iOS 5, better and higher resolution display than iPad 2 and better camera features. Battery issues and other bugs encountered from iPad 2 should be resolved through this new version. The launch of Apple's iPad 3 is speculated to be launched by February 2012.

Android Jelly Bean

Android 4.0 or Android Ice Cream Sandwich (ICS) is Android's latest OS version and it has been widely received by many users due to the improvements in this version. Google plans to take it a step further with the rumored release of their newest version dubbed as "Android Jelly Bean". Users can expect that this version would utilize voice-based functions which could be similar to Apple's Siri yet could offer much more features. Aside from that, better camera software would also be intergrated with this new version as well as having more apps that would utilize the processing speed of this OS. Google is also looking for opportunities to include Android OS in different devices like "smart houses" or vehicles and not just limiting this OS in tablets or smartphones. Google has not yet announced any official news regarding this rumored Android OS update.
