Currently in the U.K. for “The Bastard Executioner” pilot episode, series creator Kurt Sutter recently revealed a snap of the “actor wall” featuring the cast and their roles. The “Sons of Anarchy” showrunner recently wrapped his biker drama series and is now gearing up for a historical-fictional drama set in 14th century during King Edward I’s reign.

Sutter’s upcoming medieval show stars newcomer Lee Jones as the bastard executioner, an Australian theatre actor you will play as Wilkin Brattle. Emotionally deep and spiritually tortures, Brattle is a former knight who vowed not to use his sword again. Now living a simple agrarian life, the former knight was forced to pick the bloodiest sword of all when violence found him again.

Playing alongside Jones is “True Blood” star Stephen Moyer as the street smart and noble savvy Milus Corbett. Now serving as Baron Ventris’ Chancellor, Chamberlain and Justiciar; Corbett is also the Baron’s friend and drinking mate. Welsh actor Brían F. O'Byrnewas recently cast as Ventris when Sutter announced his involvement in the show on March 25, Wednesday.

“Sons of Anarchy” stars are also joining cast including Sutter wife Katey Sagal who plays the feisty SAMCRO matriarch Gemma Teller and British actor Timothy V. Murphy who is known for his SOA role as Galan O’Shay. Sagal is set to play as the mystical and prescient Annora of the Alders, while Murphy will play as Father Ruskin, a former soldier who left the military to join the seminary.

Martin McCann as Randolph Corset

Born in Belfast, McCann is known for his role in HBO’s “The Pacific” as R.V. Burgin. Back in 2010, McCann starred in musical film “Killing Bono” where he played the U2 front man. The movie is about the life of Bono’s classmates who tried to make it into the music scene but failed miserably while U2 continues to gain popularity.

Alun Raglan as Jonas The Collector

Born in Wales, Raglan starred in 2000’s “Gladiator” and was cast as one of the actors in “Attila” in 2001.

Alec Newman as Leon Tell

Born in Glasgow, Newman played various roles in theatre and one of his notable roles is Iago in Shakespeare’s “Othello.” He played as Michael Byrne in “Waterloo Road” in 2011 and plays Ray Williams in Direct TV’s second season of “Rogue.”

Elen Rhys as Petra Brattle (A relative of Wilkin Brattle)

Rhys’ known roles as from the movie “Word War Z” starring opposite Brad Pitt, “Season of the Witch” and “Panic Button” in 2011.

Ifan Huw Dafydd as Jacob

Dafydd is known for his roles in 1994’s “Gadael Lenin,” “Season of Mists” and “Rise of the Gorgoyles.”

Llyr Ifans as Reeve

Ifans is a Welsh actor known for “Twin Twon,” “Very Annie Mary” and “S.O.S. Galw Gari Tryfan.”

Kyle Rees as Calo Caine

Best known for his role in the smash-hit movie “Pride,” Rees landed the role of Calo Caine after a friend asked him to help with his Welsh accent. The former “Hollyoaks” star managed to land a role in the show while his friend end up failing the audition.
