‘Batman: Arkham Knight’ Features More Action, Weapons And Scenes In New Screenshots And Trailer
It has been a bit of a quiet time for "Batman: Arkham Knight" as fans await the release date of the title. But now that 2015 is finally here, a new wave of leaked screenshots have surfaced featuring Batman and his enemy for the final instalment of the game, Arkham Knight.
Attack of the Fanboy features a few leaked screenshots obtained from a Russian site source. As seen in the link above, the screens show off the titular villain in action. Browsing through the new images, one can see that Batman and the Arkham Knight engage in hand-to-hand combat, as already teased by previous hints from the developer.
The Arkham Knight is noted to have military training and background. This is exhibited in how the batsuit looks like a militarised version of Batman's own costume. In addition, the Arkham Knight is also able to strategically command a team and face Batman head-on.
The screens also show Arkham Knight's costume from different angles, so fans can appreciate the detail in the way that the character has been designed. For now, Rocksteady has not yet revealed specific details about the Arkham Knight, despite fans' many speculations on the face behind the mask.
The official "Batman Arkham" Facebook page also offers a number of new screenshots including the Batmobile, the Dark Knight overlooking the city of Gotham" and some more fight scenes against thugs in the game. As an added teaser for fans of "Batman: Arkham Knight," a new, short teaser clip was released, reports ComicBookMovie. Posted by Philip Silvera, the video showcased below shows what happens behind scenes for the cinematic trailer that was released for "Batman: Arkham Knight." The stunt performers have on the motion capture devices that helps the developer record what happens in the fight scenes in the game.
Silvera is credited in IMDB as a fight coordinator for "Batman: Arkham Knight" as well as a stunt coordinator for Batman. But this is not his first time in a project involving the Caped Crusader. Listed in his IMDB profile is his work for "Batman: Arkham Origins," "Batman: Arkham City" and even stunts for DC Universe Online," specifically for Batman.
Rocksteady's last instalment for the "Batman Arkham" series shows off a lot of new added features and gameplay dynamics, the most notable of which is the addition of the Batmobile. With the organic way that the developer is infusing the use of Batman's trusted vehicle, fans are promised a thrilling ride for the epic ending of the acclaimed game series.
"Batman: Arkham Knight" is expected to debut on the PS4, Xbox One and PC on Jan 2. The title is expected to debut only on the next-gen consoles because of the expansive open-world waiting for fans.
