'Batman: Arkham Knight' news: Achievements revealed for January's 'Community Challenge Pack'
While all of the season pass contents for “Batman: Arkham Knight” have been released already, fans of the game still have one more piece of downloadable content (DLC) to look forward to, which is the “Community Challenge Pack.” The DLC pack will be released sometime this month, and the developers in Rocksteady have decided to showcase the new achievements that will come with the pack.
The following achievements were revealed in the game’s Steam page and shouldn’t be much trouble for those who have mastered the combat in “Arkham Knight:”
- The Curtain Falls – Flawless FreeFlow in every round of the Monarch Theatre as Batman, Robin, Nightwing and Catwoman
- Requiem for a Killer – Defeat an old adversary in the Iceberg Lounge AR Challenge, playing as Batman
- The Chill in the Air – Complete the Crime Alley AR Challenge unharmed as Batman, Robin and Nightwing
- What the Butler Saw – Complete the Wayne Manor AR Challenge as Batman without using any gadgets or taking any damage
- Secrets of the Batcave – Complete the Batcave AR Challenge unharmed as Batman and Nightwing, using only Beat Downs
- Silent Night, Deadly Night – Complete the Silent Knight AR Challenge unharmed as Batman and Robin, using only Knockout Smashes
- Eternal – Complete the Endless Knight AR Challenge, taking out 50 Enemies as Batman
Previous AR challenges gave fans infinite waves of enemies to face for freeflow combat challenges, but the “Community Challenge Pack” is the first in the series to feature an endless predator level, according to WCCFTech. This should be a fun challenge for fans of “Arkham Knight” and should provide for plenty of bragging rights in the game’s online leadership.
All six maps will be based on levels that have appeared in “Batman: Arkham Asylum” and “Batman: Arkham City.” As expected, three of the maps will be combat-oriented, while the other three will focus on stealth.
Those who purchased the troubled PC port may be happy to know that the “Community Challenge Pack” will come to the platform first before coming to the PS4 and Xbox One this month. While this might not make up for months of frustration, it is a decent incentive for those who purchased the game on the said platform.
“Batman: Arkham Knight” is now available for PS4, Xbox One and PC. Fans who want all of the game’s downloadable content can purchase the season pass for US$39.99 (AU$57.56).
