Just when you thought you've seen enough villains whom you'll be knocking out, "Batman: Arkham Origins" developer WB Games Montreal surprises with two more villains in store.

The confirmation is not exactly an official announcement of the developer of any sort, but Gamerant takes the cue from the official soundtrack of the game, which shows off two more sound tracks that that introduced the new villains.

These are Killer Croc and The Thieving Magpie. For now, there are no details as to how these two new villains will check in with the story. The onslaught of villains is almost daunting. If you remember, "Batman: Arkham Origins" backtracks the years and showcases Batman as a young crime fighter who has yet to establish his skills and cred as the caped crusader.

Killer Croc had already been seen in "Batman: Arkham Asylum" and reprising a smaller role in "Batman: Arkham City." Might this not mean that the game will not only be an origin story for the Dark Knight, but also his future foes?

Magpie will be the making her debut as the kleptomaniac, though hopefully her character will not overlap with the likes of Copperhead (originally a man in the DC Universe) who now also gives off a slithery appeal.

So how many does that bring the villains now? The game has already introduced Black Mask, Deathstroke, The Joker, Copperhead, Firefly, Deadshot, Bane, Mad Hatter, Anarky and the Penguin.

Life is looking to be both hard and exciting to play as the dark hero in "Batman: Arkham Origins."

A New Character Revealed, but She's Not Playable

When WB Games Montreal revealed a teaser of Barbara Gordon, the daughter of police commissioner James Gordon, the common assumption was that she was going to join the dynamic duo to form the three-man (and woman) team. Not only will it be great for diversity, but it would be an even better addition for the multiplayer.

According to Kotaku, the developers have this to say about Barbara, "Batman and Robin are the classic duo, and also Robin, I guess, more readily comes to mind when you think of Arkham. So that's really the reason why."

One good way to see Barbara's character expand is a possible transformation from being just the daughter of the commissioner to taking on the mask as a DLC add-on. But unless fans actually voice out this want, it seems like gamers will have to restrict their choices to Batman and Robin.

Black Mask Takes the Stage-the Joker Steals the Spotlight?

Even though Barbara may not be getting the fleshed-out character treatment that she deserves, one character may be up for that challenge.

Black Mask has been previously reported to be running the strings as the main boss for Batman: Arkham Origins, but another character favorite will get a mighty fun twist.

In an exclusive with Digital Spy, WB Games Montreal revealed that they will be bringing back The Joker who had been the main antagonist for the original game.

"He is in the game, obviously, and we're really excited for players to discover for themselves not just his role, but the role of lots of other characters," said Ben Mattes, senior producer at WB Games Montreal, to Digital Spy.

Mattes highlights certain twists and turns that the characters can take in this third story. Perhaps the twist here will come in the form of origin stories. Considering that "Batman: Arkham Origins" goes back in time to trace and establish Batman's career as a crime fighter, it may also show the story of the villains and how they came to be.

"Batman: Arkham Origins" is the third game of the Arkham series, and it is slated for release on Oct. 25 for the PS3, Xbox 360, PC and Wii U.
