The Commander Mode is not the only mobile platform presence that "Battlefield 4" will have, as Electronic Arts has recently announced that its current mobile project involving the title.

"We are working on a mobile game of Battlefield that will be high-end and high-performance. It's our bet that we can successfully pull that off," EA's Frank Gibeau said in an interview quoted by GameSpot. "But we're embarking on something no one has ever done before--to get these games to inter-operate between platforms," he added.

For now, there are no other details revealed regarding the mobile version of the game, but speculations run high that it can run on the Frostbite Go game engine, as it supports all major mobile platforms to make it easier to create for more platforms.

Indeed, "Battlefield 4" is shaping up to use quite a lot of platforms, with the game appearing on both next-gen and current-gen consoles and working with a mobile app Commander Mode.

New 'COD: Ghosts' Trailer Shows Off Serious Gameplay

Before, Activision released a first wave of short, funny adverts depicting just what kind of reactions fans will have once "Call of Duty: Ghosts" hits every game console.

"Outnumbered and outgunned, but not outmatched. Call of Duty: Ghosts takes players to a world altered by a devastating mass event. Following an elite squad of soldiers known as the 'Ghosts,' lead the fight back against a newly emerged global power," said Activision on the official Call of Duty YouTube page.

Now, another trailer has been launched, this time featuring the Eminem soundtrack as well as a number of gameplay scenes. From explosive scenes in combat to cuts on space scenes, this is a serious look at "Call of Duty: Ghosts" and an invitation to place your pre-orders while there is still time.

"Call of Duty: Ghosts" is set to release on Nov 5, and pre-orders will come with the free add-on Free Fall map.

2 Sonic Games Will Go Mobile

With the success of "Pokemon X and Y," it seems that Nintendo is seeing more hope for some of the major titles coming out on its platform, particularly with the game in partnership with Sega.

"Sonic the Hedgehog 2," an updated "Sonic 2," "Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed," and "Demon Tribe" will find their way to the mobile platform, reports Polygon. "Sonic the Hedgehog 2" will be an iOS and Android kart racer which can feature a four-player local and online multi-player.

"Sonic 2" will be re-mastered and made compatible for the Retina displays of the iOS. "Demon Tribe" will be a MOBA title that makes use of collectible cards, which may be iOS exclusive for the meantime.

Sega has also announced that early 2014 will see the release of "Rhythm Thief & the Paris Caper," a follow-up game to the one for Nintendo 3DS.
