Battlefield 4, SimCity, BioShock Infinite & More: 5 Games Offered for AMD’s Never Settle Bundles, Includes Games for Xbox 720 and PS4
With news of the Xbox 720 now running on the AMD x86 processor, AMD is ramping up its newest Never Settle Bundles for next-gen Xbox 720 and PS4 titles.
It seems that more games are now going to be optimized to run smoothly and in sync with the next0gen consoles, Xbox 720 and PS4.
Just recently, AMD has launched the Radeon 7790, to be sold as a midrange for $149, reports Extreme Tech. the Radeon 7790 is also expected to be the GPU for the Xbox 720.
Here are five games, both upcoming and already offered, in the AMD Never Settle bundles, which you can avail for yourself through AMD's official website.
Battlefield 4
The most recent addition to AMD's Never Settle bundle is Battlefield 4, which hints at the next-gen components of the future Never Settle bundle.
According to TechReport, the fact that the Game Developer Conference showcased the Battlefield 4 gameplay via PC with a Radeon HD 7990, which means that this may be the same GPU slated for the game when it comes to the Never Settle Bundles.
"The AMD Gaming Evolved logo already appeared online in the context of the game," said Roy Taylor, AMD's CVP of global channel sales to TechReport. "You can expect that Battlefield 4 will be part the [future] Never Settle bundles."
Crysis 3 and BioShock Infinite in one bundle
The AMD Radeon HD 7900 Series Graphics Card features the Crysys 3 and BioShock Infinite as free games. This is the Reloaded pck, which is the follow-up to last year's bundle.
For buying two of these 7900 HD series cards, TechSpot reports that you'll get the codes for Crysis 3, BioShock Infinite, Tomb Raider, Sleeping Dogs, HitMan: Absolute, and Far Cry 3. However, the offer is exclusive only to North America and EMEA.
Tomb Raider
For the HD 7800 Series, you'll also get the Tomb Raider, Square-Enix's non-profit maker, but nonetheless well-loved game by most gamers. This comes together with the BioShock Infinite game.
SimCity
In lieu of expansions and potential additions to the Never Settle bundle, Hot Hardware reports that EA's SimCity may also be part of the next Never Settle pack.
But for this game, it might be for an A10/A8 APUs. According to XBit Labs, AMD will bundle Origin's SimCity starting April 18, which is deemed to be a good combination of game and processor unit.
Bonus game: A PS Exclusive?
A third game is supposedly in the works, and will be included in the future Never Settle Bundle, together with Battlefield 4 and Watch Dogs. For the meantime, Fudzilla reports that the only clue for this game is that it may be a title that has been previously unannounced for the PC.
