It may not come out at launch, but "Battlefield 4" controls may still be customisable for console users, at least this is what DICE aims as progress for the game.

"When we looked at controls in Battlefield 4 we placed the team play aspect of our controls as the highest priority. We wanted players to be familiar with using spotting and the communication rose in multiplayer as well as the engage and tactical visor in single player," said Patrick Bach, "Battlefield 4" executive producer, in an interview quoted by GameSpot.

This means that developer DIC is looking for a way for gamers to customise the control scheme in "Battlefield 4." So far, only PC players are capable of customisation options, but with the release of the game in both the current-gen and next-gen consoles, the developers aim to make the experience easier and more organic to gamers.

If you are still stuck on the "Battlefield 3" controls, DICE is also offering the Veteran option, which lifts the "Battlefield 3" controls with only the Communications options as a main difference from the previous installment.

PC Players can now Pre-load 'Battlefield 4'

"Battlefield 4" is also coming to the PC, and those who opt for this mode of play can already pre-load the PC version if you have pre-ordered the game through Origin, reports CVG.

This was confirmed by a tweet in the official "Battlefield 4" Twitter account. "Now accepting #BF4 preloads in Europe! Pre-order #BF4 for PC on Origin and you can preload the game immediately," the tweet went.

This is part of EA's plan to let gamers to pre-load the game 24 hours before the actual release date, so you can immediately start playing afterwards. On the EA Help page, you can find a complete list of pre-loading schedules per area, but almost all of the regions have the 24-hour early pre-load capability.

Check out the game launch date for your region and when you can start your pre-load now. Make sure you have 24 GB worth of storage space when you start the pre-load.

'Call of Duty: Ghosts's' Extinction Mode

After quick leak via Instagram, Activision has finally released a full-fledged "Call of Duty: Ghosts" Extinction trailer, which is a four-player co-op mode.

This is pretty much a new take on the much-loved Zombies mode, and according to Forbes, it will also be a survival mode where the game ends the moment your last-standing player is dead. Only this time, you will be facing off against aliens in an attempt to defend your base.

Check out the monsters, the shooting and all the action for Extinction mode via the "Call of Duty" official YouTube page. You may also catch on some strategies on how to deal with some of the aliens chasing you.

There's also a series of funny "Call of Duty: Ghosts" commercials that showcase fan reactions to the game the day after the release date (and presumably after an entire night of playing it).

12 Players Online for 'COD: Ghosts'

Those who are looking to play "Call of Duty: Ghosts" with an Xbox 360 can be assured of having a 12-player online game, going by a leak found by CharlieIntel.com.

According to the report, 12 is the maximum number of players online. This is a six-player difference compared to the 18-player capability on the next-gen consoles.

The leaked image also states that the installation free space required would be 3 GB, of which another user has reportedly installed in the console for just 10 minutes.
