Perhaps what gamers could take away from "Battlefield 4" in 2013 is the plague of problems that the military shooter game has been giving its fan base. That's not to say that its developer isn't trying its hardest to roll out update after update per console to catch and fix the bugs.

In an attempt to lessen these problems, DICE has aimed for a release of a new multi-platform update before January ends. According to GameSpot, the patch is already being finalised, though there has been no word yet on what problems it is targeting to fix.

Hopefully, this will be the start of better days for EA, given that "Battlefield 4" has already been filed with two lawsuits in 2013, and, if GameRant's latest findings bear fruit, a third is already being explored.

It seems that this time, the newest claim is that EA had known about the bugs plaguing "Battlefield 4" and still released it to the market.

Better eSports Coming to 'Call of Duty: Ghosts'

On the other end of the spectrum and "Battlefield 4's" biggest rival today, "Call of Duty: Ghosts" is listening to its fan base and responding ASAP. It was recently announced that Infinity Ward will be introducing competitive gaming updates as well as modified broadcaster mode and rules.

Polygon adds that it may even add an Xbox One LAN support.

"These will appear as both hot fixes and TUs in the coming weeks alongside planned changes to the areas of Ghosts affecting all players, such as spawns. As a guiding principle, development priority is assigned to those issues which we deem to have the largest immediate impact or those affecting the broadest group of players," said Tina Palacios, senior community manager to Polygon.

Gamers also seem to want the idea of eSports gaming, and the developer has already replied that they are looking into the possibility. There will also be modifications to rules, modes, Clan vs. Clan rules, and even the updates for the game.

Funny Video Trolls Xbox One's 'Call of Duty: Ghosts' Players

Now, here's a player who knows how to have fun with the Kinect---and troll a lot of "Call of Duty: Ghosts" players.

Complex.com has spotted a video compilation of gamers who have seen one player who has cleverly named his Gamertag "Xbox Sign Out." Some are just saying it as a joke, while others are trying to find a way to go around saying it. Of course, there are those who just outright fall into the trap and realise their mistake too late when the screen has shifted.

Remember, the Xbox One's Kinect is dubbed to be a device that listens and processes specific keywords that will trigger specific commands for the Xbox One. For the clever gamer, he makes use of Xbox Sign Out, which will take players out of the game if they absent-mindedly hit the button too fast.

While this is a funny way of using the Kinect (and frustrating other gamers), it also shows just how sensitive the Xbox One's Kinect is when it comes to voice commands. Even those who say it with a pause end up with funny reactions.
