The beta run may already be over for "Battlefield Hardline," but it seems that the developers still have a number of plans for the title before its release in October.

"In the months ahead, we'll be revealing more details about what we're doing in multiplayer as well as what the team at Visceral is bringing to the single-player campaign," said Steve Papoutsis, VP and GM at Visceral Games, over at the Battlefield Blog.

Papoutsis has emphasized Visceral Games' strength in telling stories, which hints at how "Battlefield Hardline" may be looking at a new way to bring the narrative to life. In addition, the multiplayer aspect of "Battlefield Hardline" is also expected to be even better than what was witnessed during the beta run.

If anything, that was just a part of what's coming, as the developers promised a lot of new modes coming to emphasize the cops and criminals theme. Lastly, "Battlefield Hardline" will also have another beta, during fall this time, to all the platforms that it will release, but Papoutsis failed to give any more details as to the timeframe or the featured game modes.

Progress with 'Battlefield 4" Community Test Environment

The last game of the franchise, "Battlefield 4" has not been forgotten by DICE, as a Community Test Environment program that the developers have launched now reap a few new findings after a month of testing it out to the crowd.

Some of the progress that "Battlefield 4" is enjoying includes the improved "Netcode" for the game, which is the priority being targeted by the fixes. Fans can now expect some changes from the June update being rolled out on CTE.

The core gameplay is also being targeted for improvement by DICE. Part of the change was seen in the fixes devoted to the "Dragon's Teeth" DLC. One such change is in the Ballistic Shield weapon, where balances were incorporated so that it can now damage the shield for one-hit kills and single tank AP-rounds, based on the feedback of fans,

Lastly, there are Rush tweaks and changes via the CTE, and these can be seen in the Siege of Shanghai, Zavod 311 and Operation Locker. The tweaks for Rush are mostly concerned with increasing the balance and flow of the round for Rush.

Three tweaks have already been executed, as announced via the Battlefield Blog:

- Commander has been removed by default in Rush

- Radar sweep has been reduced around attackers base

- Many per map specific changes MCOM placement and cover passes

But this is just the beginning as the developers have also noted a few more areas where they are planning to make improvements, including general weapons, 3P head-flinch dampening, vehicle tuning and game modes.
