Battlefield Hardline vs. Titanfall: New Multiplayer, Car Chases Showcased and a Third DLC Pack Detailed
The cops and criminals motif of "Battlefield Hardline" has been showcased in its multiplayer glory as DICE and Visceral Games take the stage at Gamescom.
There, the developers have released a new trailer of the Rescue mode, with the Growhouse map. For this mode, the players take on the role of the SWAT team ready to rescue hostages in any sure way or manner.
IGN adds that there was also a mode shown off, called Hotwire, which is more focused on speed chase played on a multiplayer. In Hotwire, you only get one life per round, so make it count in this 5v5 setup.
Over at the official Battlefield Blog, the developers have released a longer trailer, this time featuring shoot-outs on a 5v5 mode, where you need to do anything you can to save the hostages.
In a newly released 12-minute demo, shot entirely in-game, you'll experience 'Battlefield Hardline's' unique style of storytelling, taking inspiration from the most popular TV crime dramas," the developers said via Battlefield Blog.
The demo is narrated by Visceral Games creative director Ian Milham, and it features a number of hi-tech gadgets.
"Battlefield Hardline" has been delayed to 2015, and is expected to debut on the PS4, Xbox One, Xbox 360, PS3 and PC.
