Ben Affleck-Jennifer Garner latest scoop: An inside look at the former couple’s relationship after nannygate scandal

Two months after former Hollywood couple Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner announced their separation and weathered through alleged nanny affair news, the two seem to have buried the bitter past, as they have been reportedly spending more time together with their children.

The "Argo" actor and his former wife are working together to present a united front to their children. According to E!Online, an insider shared that Garner has been able to set aside their differences and focus on co-parenting their kids. The source even said that the former couple has also started going to church.

"On the weekends they spend a lot of family time together with outings to the farmers market and church," the E! source revealed.

Despite Affleck and Garner spending more time together now with their children, it doesn’t mean a reconciliation will soon happen. An insider told E!, "inevitably, there are still feelings there but a lot has changed between them."

The two stars' break-up was one of the biggest celebrity scandals of this year. Affleck was romantically linked to a former family nanny, Christine Ouzonian. The actor’s camp, however, denied the affair, saying that the “Batman” actor had nothing romantic going on with Ouzonian, who is a decade younger than Garner.

During the height of Affleck’s alleged affair with the former nanny, an insider who claims to be friends with Ouzounian even said, “She says Ben really, really likes her. She’s saying this is true love,” Mirror reported. The Oscar winner’s rep., however, denied this allegation and stated, “The story is b------ and harmful to many.”

And, according to an E! source, there was a lot of tension between Affleck and Garner, and it wasn’t just centred on the nanny. “It’s never easy for a couple going through a split,” the source added. Another E! source close to the couple said, “There are still a lot of issues but she has to put them aside for the sake of her family.”

The former couple’s friend also said that Garner would like to forgive Affleck for all the drama. The E! insider added, “She isn’t going to ever stop loving him. He’s the father of her kids and she wants him in their lives.”
