Bethesda confirms ‘Fallout 4’ preloading support for both consoles and PC
Bethesda’s upcoming role-playing game “Fallout 4” will support preloading. Even better news for all players is that none of the game versions has been omitted out of the preload feature. This was confirmed by Bethesda Marketing Manager Pete Hines.
“We will offer preloading for Fallout 4 on PC, Xbox One, and PS4. Exact day/time TBA. All should be available a few days before launch day,” said Hines on his Twitter account. However, no light has been shed on an exact time and date when the pre-loading begins. Hines suggested that it would be available a few days before the release date.
Preloading has been out for PC for quite some time but is relatively a new concept for consoles. The benefit of preloading is the availability to play a game, the very moment it launches officially. Players who preorder the game for the Xbox One will also receive a free copy of “Fallout 3,” which can be played using the backward compatibility mode of the console.
However, PlayStation 4 owners have not been left out. Sony has teamed up with Bethesda to include a special Fallout 4” Garage Theme for every pre order placed through the PlayStation Online Store. PC players receive a “Mister Handy Announcer Pack” for preorders placed through Steam.
Bethesda recently partnered with Carlsberg to create the game’s own brand of beer. Dubbed as the “Fallout Beer,” this was created using a blend of malted barley and selected hops. The bottle also includes an “Inspired by Vault-Tec Industries” tag and is available as a 12-case in the U.K. for £29.99, reported GameSpot.
The base version of “Fallout 4” was recently completed by Bethesda. The studio is currently working on the game’s expansions, which is likely to be released at the beginning of 2016. “Fallout 4” releases on Nov. 10 for PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
