Since its release last Nov. 10, players have spent millions of hours travelling the Commonwealth in Bethesda’s “Fallout 4.” The game is, without a doubt, home to a dense world map filled with tons of quests and storylines to accomplish. Still, some players look to enhance their experience in the game through the use of mods and the console command prompt on the PC.

PC players of “Fallout 4”have been very creative with the console command available on their platforms. With it, they are able to do a lot of things that console players are not capable of. Though fun and exciting, developer Bethesda said that it does not recommend the use of this feature.

One fan of “Fallout 4” took to Twitter to ask Bethesda marketing manager Pete Hines if console commands will be made available to the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. Hines replied with a short “nope.” He then added the console commands are not recommended on the PC anyway, noting that it could easily corrupt and mess up data.

Since “Fallout 4” is such a huge game, PC players should be wary of the possible effects of using console commands. Doing so could set back the players on a lot of progress. Worst case scenario, their data could even be completely deleted.

Fans have wondered about the existence of console commands on the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One as mods are coming to the platforms early next year. Apparently, the home consoles are not capable of having console commands.

There are a ton of things to do using the console command on the PC version of ”Fallout 4.” Aside from cheat like commands including God Mode, Super Jump and Super Running Speed, players can also spawn enemies and even weapons. There are a ton of commands for the game and some of the best are seen here on Gamespot.
