‘Better Call Saul’ season 3: Return of another ‘Breaking Bad’ character confirmed
“Better Call Saul” season 3 will have more connection with “Breaking Bad” in comparison to previous two seasons. It has already been announced that villain Gus Fring (Giancarlo Esposito) will also be part of the third season of the show. Now, the official Twitter handle of the show has hinted that another character from the original series is also returning. However, the mystery remains who he is.
The tweet has a picture of the person who is making a comeback. However, his face has not been revealed. The person is posing alongside Bob Odenkirk (James Morgan "Jimmy" McGill). Interestingly, fans have already started taking guesses as to who he is. (See the tweet below).
Most fans suspect that it is Dean Norris (Hank Schrader). Previously as well, several theories suggested that Hank might return to the show. Now, after Gus’ return has been confirmed, it is expected that Hank might also return to the show because that is how the story follows.
The show’s previous season hinted that Jimmy would gradually identify himself with the characteristics of Saul Goodman, the criminal lawyer. This implies that Jimmy, the small-town lawyer, will venture into the criminal world. Mike Ehrmantraut (Jonathan Banks), on the other hand, would work under Gus who would start his journey to set up the largest drug empire in the country. While this happens, DEA Agent Hank Schrader’s role seems pivotal and so is his return.
“Breaking Bad” showed that New Mexico's section of the DEA was directly connected to the country's drug trade. Hence, chances of Hank's return, who was constantly trying to trace the links of blue meth formula being spread across the whole state, are quite high.
“Better Call Saul” season 3 will return on the small screens on April 10 at 10PM ET on AMC in the US. In Australia, the show is streamed on Stan. However, the streaming company has not announced about the third season as of yet.
