Beyond PS4 & Xbox One/Xbox 720: Diablo 3, Deus Ex: Human Revolution & World of Tanks
Despite the hype brought by the intense jabbing and blows that were silently exchanged by Microsoft and Sony to open the event, the E3 2013 is not just about the next generation consoles.
Ushering in the first dawn of the second day brings news of what new things gamers can also expect to come out for the PS3 and the Xbox 360, starting with Deus Ex: Human Revolution Director's Cut.
A game from Square Enix, Deus Ex: Human Revolution is said to feature rescue missions, revamped boss battles, better AI and graphics, and more advanced balance and combat, according to GameSpot.
There are no details yet of how the Director's Cut version will be delivered, though talk of it being a DLC has been reported.
Deus Ex: Human Revolution Director's Cut is already slated for an unconfirmed date release for the PS3, Xbox 360, PC, and the Wii U.
More details on Diablo 3
It has already been confirmed that Diablo 3 will be coming to cross-gen platforms, to include both the current generation consoles PS3 and Xbox 360 as well as the upcoming PS4 and Xbox One.
But Sony's consoles may have more in terms of exclusive items for their version of Diablo 3. According to VG 24/7, those who already have game such as Uncharted and Journey can expect some exclusive items for those games coming alongside the Diablo 3 PS3 and PS4 versions.
Some of these include Drake's Amulet, already available come the launch of the game for the console.
As if the September release date wasn't much of an anticipation build-up already, here's the Diablo 3 multiplayer trailer released at E3 2013, specifically for the PS3.
World of Tanks heads to the Xbox 360
Gamers with an Xbox Live Gold account can enjoy the World of Tanks, an original PC game now given an Xbox 360 spin. And it's looking to become a World of Tanks Xbox 360 Edition, as an open beta play may be released in the near future.
Joystiq reports that beta registration is already open in the game's website, and gamers will have access to four maps and the game's entire fleet of 60 tanks at the get-go. Though the PC play is still available, cross-play between platforms is not possible, though announcements on whether this is just for the beta phase has not yet been confirmed.
According to CinemaBlend, there are a lot to expect for the Xbox 360 version including tank customization, unlockable and shop-sold items, friends, guides, clans, and lists. It's technically a free-to-play version as well, as long as you have the Xbox Live Gold account.
For now, what gamers can enjoy would be the difference in controlling the game, as well as the tweaked UI for the console version.
