“Big Brother Australia” housemate Mikkayla’s superpower didn’t save her from nomination on Thursday night. The “house cat” was awarded “The Infiltrator” superpower, which allowed her to infiltrate Tahan and Boog’s votes in front of them.

The school teacher won her superpower when she won the Showdown earlier the week, and it turned out to be a double-edged sword. For the first time since the show’s start, the nomination superpower involved the holder to confront others while they nominate.

Big Brother allowed her to become witness to two housemates’ nominations and take two points from each of them to use for herself to nominate again. She chose to infiltrate Tahan and Boog’s, whom she also nominated for two and three points respectively.

Tahan was sent inside the Diary Room while Mikkayla sat behind the desk inside, and that’s where the awkwardness began.

In the defensive immediately, Tahan nominated Mikkayla for three points in front of her, saying, “You can nominate me back, that’s fine.” However, much to her surprise, her rival didn’t do such thing. Instead, Mikkayla nominated Drew for two points, leaving Tahan confused and unsure of her move.

“I thought you were going to nominate me back! Oh my God!” the government work/part-time model was shocked.

Boog nominated her fellow intruder Madaline for three points in front of Mikkayla because she thought the lawyer was giving a “diluted version of herself” in the house. Mikkayla once again allocated Boog’s two points to Drew. Her reason was the same as the first one: “He has definitely changed in a more negative way since the departure of Tully.”

Little did Mikkayla know that Drew was perhaps not just bothering to hide his true colours anymore now that his “house-wife” has left. When Tully was still in the house, he acted as her double agent, often relaying things that one housemate has said to another in a slightly different version, which caused chaos between the two involved housemates.

But if Drew is asked, it’s Mikkayla who’s been creating chaos in the house. He nominated her for two points because “she is a key instigator” of disharmony in the house.

Tim, after telling Jade and Mikkayla that his loyalty was still with them and not with Tahan, he nominated both women for two and three points respectively because of their association with Ed.

Here’s the nomination Tally:
Mikkayla – Boog (3), Tahan (2), Drew (4)
Tahan – Mikkayla (3)
Ed – Boog (3), Tim (2)
Drew – Ed (3), Mikkayla (2)
Jade – Tahan (3), Boog (2)
Madaline – Boog (3), Tim (2)
Tim – Mikkayla (3), Jade (2)
Boog – Madaline (3)

The nominees came down to Boog on 11 points, Mikkayla on eight, and Tahan for five. And since there are no swaps and saves anymore, the line-up is complete and final.

The next eviction is on Wednesday, which will see one housemate leave the house and decrease the number of remaining housemates to seven.
