Bigfoot is definitely real, according to a group of researchers from the Sasquatch Genome Project who found DNA evidence including photos and videos of the legendary creature.

The researchers have in their possession a never-before-seen footage of Bigfoot. The video presented to the public showed a female Bigfoots sleeping in the Kentucky woods. Sasquatch researchers also found hair and blood samples unlike anything that has been seen by the scientific world before.

The shocking statements of the Sasquatch Genome Project research are supported by eleven universities and outside laboratories who supposedly reviewed the findings. The laboratories and universities were provided with blind samples, according to researchers.

The group, led by genetics scientist Melba Ketchum, told CBS DFW that they came out with the evidence so people will understand that the Sasquatch Genome Project is a serious study.

Since the researchers' public presentation, skeptics have challenged the credibility of Mr Ketchum. A laboratory in New York claimed that it tested a similar sample and discovered the sample to contain the typical human mitochondrial results.

According to the "serious" Bigfoot researchers, they examined a tissue sample taken from a live Bigfoot. The hair appeared to be coarser than human hair and closely resembled horse's hair.

The video proving the existence of Bigfoot showed footage of a sleeping "reddish brown Sasquatch juvenile" in the woods. She was found after Sasquatch researchers followed her with her mother.

The young creature believed to be Bigfoot was allegedly one of many creatures filmed by the members of the Sasquatch Genome Project.

One photo showed what looked like fresh drops of blood and "fang" marks on a metal downspout. The report also said that Bigfoot researchers found 113 separate samples of blood, mucus, hair, saliva, skin, toenail and bark scrapings.

The researchers said the samples were submitted by several groups and individuals from separate sites in North America.

With $500,000 to fund their study, the Sasquatch Genome Project researchers presented their findings on Oct. 1 to prove once and for all that Bigfoot exists and it is not just a mythical creature.

The group's exclusive video footage came from a similar research known as The Erickson Project. It was led by Adrian Erickson who also said it has in its possession a video with DNA evidence from the Bigfoot.
