Biggest 'Clash of Clans' update coming in November; new units, structures and bigger map in the pipeline
Developer Supercell announced a lot of big things coming to “Clash of Clans” at ClashCon 2015 last week. What looks to be the biggest update yet for “Clash of Clans” is reportedly going to hit devices really soon, but an actual release date is yet to be specified.
Since its release in August 2012, Supercell is yet to release a major update to the game, Neurogadget reports. Hence, the developer has only released minor updates which either tweaked the game a little or added one or two structures. Supercell announced that it will release its biggest update this November. However, no exact release date has been given for the game yet.
The upcoming update is slated to further expand “Clash of Clans.” One of the biggest additions in the upgrade is the all new Town Hall level 11 upgrade, Touch Arcade reports. A new Town Hall upgrade opens up opportunities for more upgrades in the future. Other structure additions include an all new defense tower dubbed as the Eagle tower. The tower will activate when a certain amount of destruction has been caused and it will attack both ground and air units.
As for units, the update will be bringing along the much awaited level 8 upgrade to the Barbarian. This means that Barbarians will soon sport a new look, higher health points and higher attacks after being upgraded. The update may also introduce a new Hero unit, which is yet to be detailed by Supercell. However, rumours suggest that the new Hero unit is a Warlock.
The update will also make the game map larger by upsizing it to become a 44x44 tiled area. This means that each player will have more room for structures, but they also have a bigger area to defend from attackers.
