With Black Friday just around the corner, various stores and online retailers have announced their deals on some of the year’s best buys. But as Xbox proves, the direct producer and manufacturer of a product can sometimes offer the best available deals.

Whether interested buyers are looking to purchase their first Xbox One, or if existing players want to load up on games, the Xbox Store will be full of available deals. The discounts begin on Sept. 22 for the general public, but has been available for Xbox Live Gold members since Sept. 18. Microsoft is also offering the gold membership for just US$1 (AU$1.40).

The Xbox One S will be available to the general public for a discount of US$50 (AU$69). In addition to the console itself, buyers will get a US$25 (AU$34) gift code a one free game, as long as supplies last. The Xbox One S is a notable console and an excellent redesign to the standard Xbox One.

According to Major Nelson, there are about 250 deals for Xbox One and Xbox 360 games, as well as Xbox 360 games that support backwards compatibility. The games included in the deals are some of the gaming world’s favourite titles “Battlefield 1” will be available at a 25 percent discount (33 percent for Gold members) while “Fifa 17” and “NBA 2k17” will be sold at a 30 percent discount and 20 percent discount respectively (40 percent and 30 percent respectively for Gold members.)

For Xbox 360 Games, “Read Dead Redemption,” “Call Of Duty Black Ops” and “Skate 3” and will be available at a 40 percent discount (50 percent for Gold members). “Madden 17” is also available for 30 percent off (40 percent for Gold members).
