Black Ops 2, Metal Gear Rising & Monster Hunter Tri are On Right Gear
Call of Duty: Ghosts may be taking up most of the screen time as a much-anticipated Call of Duty installment, but that doesn't mean that Black Ops 2's run is already over.
Treyarch has recently released an update that not only fixes a couple of bugs, but also brings a new game mode which you can play at a limited time.
VG 24/.7 reports that you'll get an alternative Team Deathmatch selection where you'll get 150 points every time you gun down someone, so you can get Scorestreaks as you go.
In addition, the update will fix different areas of the game, depending on which console you are using. For both consoles, among the improvements you can expect are the added limited time game mode to the Bonus Playlist and a post-match Connection Quality survey so you can assess gameplay online connection quality.
Problems as reported by the COD community have also been taken into consideration, from infinite ammos to immortality of some players.
The update is now available for the PS3 and Xbox 360. Get it now and start playing before more confirmed details about the next COD installment comes out.
Metal Gear Rising DLC out this month
Following last month's Jetstream DLC, another Metal Gear Rising additional content will be made available starting May 14.
This time, you'll be taking on the persona of Blade Wolf, for the DLC with the same name. Joystiq reports that the DLC will take place before Blade Wolf and Raiden meet, so it's a great glimpse of what happened before the two starting aiming for each other's throats.
The DLC will be available for download on the Xbox Live on May 14 for both North America and Europe, and it will first be released in the PlayStation Network in North America on May 14 before it hits Europe the next day. Get it at 560 Microsoft points or $9.
Monster Hunter Tri servers going down
When news of the Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate becoming a hit in Europe flared up last month, you probably never thought that it would lead to the shutting down of the Monster Hunter Tri server.
To be fair, Nintendo did announce in January that the multiplayer would be closed down, reports New Gamer Nation, but this time, the action will finally be implemented.
Given that Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate is already out in the market, it's high time that it won't share the limelight with another game. For those who find this to be bad news, you can still play the solo modes, but starting today, there will no longer be any multiplayer for it.
