'Black Sails' Season 2 Episode 8 Spoilers: Captain Flint Gets Kicked, Promises 'Judgment'
The preview video and a clip of “Black Sails” Season 2 episode 8 have been released by the producers. One of the videos show Captain Flint getting kicked and Eleanor trying to find ways to ensure the Urca gold doesn’t end up on the island. The other video is a clip of Abigail Ashe trying to understand the pirates. [Warning: Spoilers Alert]
Captain Flint may be on his way to deliver Abigail Ashe safely to her father in the next episode of “Black Sails.” She is seen sailing on a new ship in the preview video of the episode. But things may not be easy for Flint, as he is seen on his knees and getting kicked by someone.
Meanwhile, Eleanor Guthrie will try to find a way to ensure that the gold of the Urca de Lima is not brought back to Nassau. Eleanor and Flint are pinning their hopes of bringing some form of legitimacy and sustainability to the island by enlisting the support of Abigail’s father. The plan may not be successful if the gold is brought back to Nassau.
Previous attempts to get the pirates pardons by England and securing the future of Nassau, by Flint, had failed because of the war with Spain. Eleanor and Flint are concerned that if Spain discovers their gold has been stolen by pirates from Nassau, England may not support a bill that gives the pirates pardons.
John Silver is seen making preparations of his own for the Urca gold. He and his fellow pirates had lied to Flint about the gold being gone in the previous episode of “Black Sails” Season 2. While Eleanor wants to kill those who know about the gold, John has made plans with Max to secure the gold. Max may give the information about the gold to Captain Rackham and his crew, who is also seen in the preview video.
All the efforts of Captain Flint in “Black Sails” Season 2 depend on Abigail Ashe. One of the clips from episode 8 shows the young girl thinking that the pirates as “monsters” who “dance to the tunes” of Flint. Her report to her father will determine whether he will offer support to Flint’s cause. The pirate captain promises “judgment” at the end of this journey.
