'Black Sails' Season 3 spoilers: Flint duels with Blackbeard; Rackham plans to take on Woodes Rogers

Flint and Blackbeard will fight a duel in “Black Sails” Season 3 episode 6. Meanwhile, Rackham has started his own “duel” with the new Governor of Nassau Woodes Rogers. The next episode of the show promises more action and twists.

Flint (Toby Stephens) has set his eyes on recapturing the island of Nassau. After winning over the queen of his captors he had decided to search for Vane (Zach McGowan) and the other pirates who refused the pardons offered by the British.

In episode 6, Flint will be able to find Vane and the other pirates. However, he will have to contend with Blackbeard (Ray Stevenson) in order to take control of the fleet. A promo video of the next episode teases a pistol duel between the two pirate captains.

Blackbeard is of the opinion that a pirate should not have a hiding place to call home, because a home can be targeted by his enemies. Flint, on the other hand wants a secure location like Nassau, from where he can build his forces to take on a strong enemy.

All the other pirates will stand by and watch the two pirates fight in the next episode of “Black Sails” Season 3. The pistol duel may not be enough to determine a clear winner and the two may have to take up swords to determine who is worthy to lead the pirates.

Meanwhile, Rackham (Toby Schmitz) seems to have decided to stay on Nassau for good. “I have begun the duel…between myself and our lord Governor,” Rackham said in the promo video. Max (Jessica Parker Kennedy) is concerned about what the pirate may have done to stir things up on the island. Max has invested a substantial sum to get a seat on the table with the Governor and may not want to jeopardise that partnership.

While Rackham is busy scheming, Anne will have to fight off some British soldiers in “Black Sails” Season 3 episode 6. Rackham had returned to get a pardon certificate in the previous episode, while Anne had remained with their luggage.
