Even though the Q10's release date and price have not yet been announced, it seems that BlackBerry is also readying itself for another future launch.

According to TechRadar, BlackBerry seems to be gearing up for another flagship phone.

"There's one new product I'm really excited about, but I can't really share it," said CEO Thorsten Heins to TechRadar. "It takes BlackBerry 10 to another level in terms of the user experience."

What this means and when more details for a clearer view will be confirmed still seems murky at best for the moment, but it seems that the holidays will shed more light on the matter--or even see the newest flagship phone up for release.

Aiming for tablets and laptops

It seems that, despite the continuing roll-out of the Z10 and the possibly nearing release of the Q10, BlackBerry also has its sights set on another branch of the tech industry: laptops and tablets.

Specifically, BlackBerry is gearing up for phones that sync and work perfectly with tablets and laptops for the master plan of consolidating all of the devices and having the power to synchronize everything easily for the user.

So instead of bringing all your necessary gadgets to a meeting or a vacation, you just have to bring one and let the rest sync with it when you get back.

"We are talking about a mobile-computing experience that makes sure that for you as user, you only have to carry one computing device," said Heins to ABC News. "Then you get peripherals around it that make your life much more easy than it is today carrying a tablet, carrying a smartphone, carrying a laptop, going to your office and having a desktop."

BlackBerry is now testing its phones to see if this is possible. And it has already released its own tablet, The Playbook, back in 2011, to less than enthused audiences. But if the plans for integration bear fruit, it would be a great selling point for BlackBerry to push itself higher in the industry.

BlackBerry takes over--literally

After its debut in the US, it seems that BlackBerry is wasting no time getting into the minds and habits of potential users as it launches a new takeover campaign for the Z10.

According to ArsTechnica, BlackBerry's new campaign involves commercials which will takeover desktop browsers and smartphones of other brands.

What makes it a pretty unique campaign is that aside from giving you a glimpse of what the BlackBerry Hub is like, you also experience how the Time Shift feature works in what is dubbed to be a real-time marketing effort.

And that's not all. This year, BlackBerry is also slated to release a keyboard challenge, pitting smartphone users against the onscreen keyboard.

So far, the campaign has run with The Guardian and The New York Times.

"Let's say you are exposed to a BlackBerry 10 link. You click on it and it will take over your screen, and for instance, show you the BlackBerry 10 keyboard and at the end ask, 'Does your smartphone do that? If not visit, blackberry10.com," said Frank Boulben, chief marketing officer of BlackBerry, said to The Drum.

Considering the hype for campaigning the new BB10 devices, many are now looking forward to whether or not this will reap in results for the company.
