Blake Lively Speaks Up on her Valentine's Day Plans

The lovely Serena VanDer Woodsen from "Gossip Girl" would have no trouble looking for dates on the upcoming February 14 and the actress who plays this stunning gal, Blake Lively, would also have no trouble herself. The big question is who'd be her lucky valentine's date?

It was quite a shock to hear that the 24-year old had only four boyfriends considering she's blessed with gorgeous looks and striking features. That in itself is an obvious and ironic comparison to her onscreen character, Serena, who jumps from one guy to the next.

"I've had four boyfriends in my whole life. I've never been with anyone that's not a boyfriend. If I spend time with a man, it's because there's somebody that I know well who has been a friend for a while," shared Blake in an interview with Elle Magazine.

Looking back at the actresses' dating history, the four boyfriends would most probably be Kelly Platz, Penn Badgely, Leonardo DiCaprio and Ryan Reynolds. So now that she's currently hooked up with the "Green Lantern" lead, Ryan Reynolds, what plans are in store for the much awaited Valentine's Day?

Luckily, Blake Lively was out and about celebrating Valentine's Day two weeks early. The "Gossip Girl" star was at New York's Andaz Hotel promoting the latest competition of a confectionary company. If her dating habits onscreen are quite different in real life, her fashion would say otherwise. Blake Lively stunned in a pastel blue and cream Valentino dress which featured a tapework skirt.

Finally, when asked who'd her lucky valentine date be? A few would've bet she'd answer her current beau Ryan Reynolds, however the actress answered otherwise.

"My dad," says Blake, "My dad is in my first valentine. Always been my valentine. He's always been the first, he's always set me up a box of chocolates and teddy bears. Every single year that I can ever remember."

Definitely an "aw"-inducing answer but knowing Ryan Reynolds, a Valentine's Day date has already been planned out. Blake won't just get the usual chocolates and teddy bears from her dad but a few are already guessing she'll get more from Reynolds.
