The movie standard is this: one guy gets a bed scene with two girls. However, in Blake Lively's new movie "Savages," it is her who gets two men and this time - it's mutual.

"I think some women think one is enough but that's what was nice about this movie," said the "Gossip Girl" star during an interview with Hollywood Life. "You would think it would be, it's normally the guy with the two women," continued Blake.

Blake Lively got her big break from "The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants" as Bridget Vreeland, but gained worldwide notoriety from the TV series Gossip Girl, where she played the "it-girl-with-everything", Serena van der Woodsen.

The intense ménage à trois scenes were filmed on the first day of production, which removed all inhibitions from the actors, making them bonded all throughout the shoot. This would somehow be closely related to how Garret Hedlund and Kristen Stewart bonded for "On the Road".

"Savages" is about two marijuana growers who take on a Mexican drug cartel who kidnaps their girlfriend, O, or Ophelia. Blake Lively plays O, while her two boyfriends are played by Aaron Johnson and Taylor Kitsch. Other names attached to the production are Salma Hayek, Benicio del Toro and John Travolta.

Of course, with this star-studded cast comes a heavy-duty director. Oliver Stone is helming this action packed movie, and co-wrote the screenplay with Shane Salerno and Don Winslow, the author of the novel of the same name. Stone's last project was back in 2010, where he directed "Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps", a sequel to the 1987 Wall Street, which both starred Michael Douglas.

When asked about the brutality of the film, the "Gossip Girl" star had a mouthful about the reality behind the screenplay.

"The content is something that's really scary, you know especially someone who's so close with their family and has a very young audience. But to do something this violent, this graphic, this racy is something that's scary but its also it was such an exciting challenge." said Blake about the difference of this movie from her "Gossip Girl" role, and how she thinks her young audiences will react.
