BlizzCon 2014 To Be Held At The Anaheim Convention Center From Nov. 7-8, 2014: Virtual Ticket Allows Fans To Watch The Event Online [WATCH VIDEO]

Blizzard Entertainment's BlizzCon 2014 is the eighth convention for the company which aims to celebrate their games namely "Warcraft," "Diablo" and "Starcraft." It will be a two-day event that will be held from Nov. 7-8, 2014 at the Anaheim Convention Center in California. It has a lot of activities in store for those who will attend it including Q&A panels and sessions, various contests, cosplay, announcements and previews of games or other new content. Plus, there will be numerous stations that offer hands-on play time of Blizzard's games. Read on to learn more about it.

According to the Battle.net, BlizzCon 2014 will start at 10 a.m. on Friday, Nov. 7, 2014 and it will last until 10 p.m. PT. For Saturday, Nov. 8, 2014, the same schedule of opening and closing times will apply. The complete address of the Anaheim Convention Center where BlizzCon 2014 will be held is 800 West Katella Avenue, Anaheim, CA 92802.

BlizzCon 2014 will feature the following activities:

1. Global finals for Blizzard eSports (with top pro gamers)

2. Discussion panels with Blizzard game artists and developers

3. Tournaments for players

4. Contests with great prizes (BlizzCon Movie, Costume and Talent Contests) hosted by comedian Chris Hardwick

5. Hands-on play time with the newest versions of Blizzard Entertainment games ("Diablo III: Reaper of Souls," "World of Warcraft: Warlords of Draenor," "Hearthstone: Heroes of Warcraft," "Heroes of the Storm," and "StarCraft II: Legacy of the Void")

6. Commemorative Blizzard Entertainment game merchandise including in-game loot for "World of Warcraft," "Diablo III," "StarCraft II," "Heroes of the Storm" and "Hearthstone."

BlizzCon 2014 tickets cost $199 USD each (plus taxes and fees). Fans of Blizzard Entertainment's games can also purchase the BlizzCon 2014 Virtual Ticket from the Battle.net Shop. It is available for $39.99 and it allows those who can't physically attend the convention to watch it online.

According to the Battle.net Shop, the BlizzCon 2014 Virtual Ticket is limited to one person per Battle.net account. Internet connection and a registration in Battle.net are required to view it online. In order to properly view the streaming content, browsers such as Chrome 36.x, Firefox 32.x, Safari 7.x and Internet Explorer 11.x should be used.
