Now, everyone welcomes the little sweetheart of Jay-Z and Beyonce, - Blue Ivy Carter.

Even at just being a one day old baby, everyone is already making such a great fuss over the newborn. For a first-born, many are saying that her parents could have thought of a better name for her. But still, it is a better option than just going for 'Brooklyn Carter' as a name.

Blue Ivy definitely has a lovely melody to its pronunciation like the songs of her mother. But what's with name really? If you would take the time to look back at the background of her father Jay-Z, one would discover how much he likes the colour blue while Ivy can possibly be taken from the representation of roman number numeral IV for 4 which can also be read as 'Ivy,' right?

Jay-Z most classic album was entitled as 'The Blueprint' while the most popular album of Beyonce was called '4.' Both Jay-Z and Beyonce also were born on the 4th and married also on the same day.

Beyonce gave birth to this lovely baby girl on the night of January 7, 2012 in Lenox Hill via C-section. There were even some confusing media news that the name is actually Blue Ivy and not the other way around.
