Bobbi Kristina Brown's 22nd Birthday: Houston Family Releases Her Health Update, Ask For Prayers
As Bobbi Kristina Brown turns 22-year-old on March 4, the Houston family has provided an update on her health condition. The daughter of late singer Whitney Houston and Bobby Brown has not shown any significant improvement and remains in a state of medically induced coma. Her fans and family have flooded her social media accounts with birthday wishes and prayers.
"Today is Bobbi Kristina's 22nd birthday and we ask you to continue to keep her in your prayers as she is still fighting the battle of her life," Patricia Houston, Whitney Houston's sister-in-law wrote in a message on Whitney Houston's official website. Patricia also posted an adorable picture of Bobbi with Whitney. Check it out here.
Bobbi's health condition has not seen any significant change ever since she was admitted to the hospital on Jan. 31 after being found unresponsive in a bathtub at her Georgia home. The updates released on her health condition included how she “briefly” opened her eyes and suffered from “violent seizures” when doctors tried to revive her. She is currently in a state of medically induced coma and is “fighting for her life.”
Bobbi's boyfriend Nick Gordon, who has been banned from visiting Bobbi in hospital, has taken to Twitter to express his feelings for her. “Happy Birthday baby I wish I was there with you to hold you and be by your side,” Nick tweeted early on Wednesday. He also posted a picture of a television set in his room with a message that he is watching “Hobbit 2-3” - favourite films of Bobbi, to feel “close” to her.
The baseball player also witnessed some suicidal tendencies and said he is only staying strong because of Bobbi. “I'm so hurt I wanna do myself in, I know I have to strong,” Nick tweeted on March 3. Nick was unofficially adopted by Whitney Houston when he was young but does not have a cordial relationship with Bobby Brown.
Bobbi celebrated her 21st birthday with Nick and was very happy with him. Read more about it here. Bobbi's mother Whitney too was found face-down and unresponsive in a bathtub on Feb. 11, 2012 in a Beverly Hills Hotel. Police said “accidentally drowning” caused her death but various investigation teams also linked her death to drugs and heart disease.
